Kristen Stewart

For those of you who still think Kristen is ugly. Take a look at these, and be proven wrong.
I have always been a huge fan of her, and have always thought she was beautiful, but she is really gorgeous here.
She definatly suits the pale skin, red lip and black dresses and she also is refreshing, not many other actresses tend to wear anything like this, it's usually over the top, extravagant dresses, but Kristen keeps it effortlessly simple.

A leopard may change its spots.

British Film Festival on October 7, 2010 in Dinard, France.
I don't want to say this because of the girl power in me, but how fucking amazing does she look now that she is back with Jude? Maybe we are noticing it more because she's out and about, but something about her has changed, and for the better.

Lindsey Wixon

Publication: AnOther Magazine
Issue: Autumn/Winter 2010

When Lindsey Wixon first burst onto the scene, I wasn't a lover of her. But I've warmed to her now.
Lindsey also puts me in mind of Dominique Swan when she starred in 'Lolita', and this editorial cements it for me, with the lace peter pan collars and the floral two piece..she could quite possibly be her.

Hidden Olsen

To those who don't already know; this is Elizabeth Olsen the twins little sister.
& I think she is a total style icon in her own right. There aren't very many pictures of her, which is a shame, because I'd love to see more of her.
This one was taken in March 2009, and the dress is Elizabeth and James.

and this was taken August this year.
Elizabeth is also an actress, but not so much a child actress like her sisters. She starred in one of their shows, and done some other little bits, but she now has two films coming out in 2011, which I am tres excited for!
The first one is called 'Martha Marcy May Marlene' and IMDB tells me that it's about a girl who escapes from a cult. She is alongside Hugh Dancey- who was in Confessions of a Shopaholic!
And the film I am on tenderhooks for is 'Peace, Love, & Misunderstanding' and is about Lizzie's charecters parents take her and her brother to meet her grandmother (who will be played by Jane Fonda) who was a hippie in woodstock.

I am really not describing it well. But yeah, very excited for those two films.

Agyness Deyn LOVE

This cover is so simple, it's so much better than loads of headlines and too much going on.
I also like the fact that Agyness Deyn is on the cover, she's kind of been out of the limelight since 2007, when she was at the height of her modelling career (with THAT blonde pixie crop)

So jealous that she can rock a buzzed head, bridge piercing and masculine jewellery and still manage to look perfect.

TwentyTwelve

Since Factory Girl, I've always been interested in Sienna Miller, and I was thrilled when I found out she and her sister Savannah were bringing out their own fashion line. I'm so glad that it didn't end up like a normal celeb fashion line, because they usually are so cliche and end up failing miserably.
You can actually take these two seriously.

I love everything about the short film, and there seems to be alot more short films in regards to fashion, as if seeing them in magazines and online just isn't enough anymore. I, for one am pleased that we are seeing the clothes in motion.

Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen in The Row

Walk into the Row's studio in New York's Chelsea neighborhood and you will see no clothes. Sure, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, designers of the Row, have been credited as key to what those of short memory call "new minimalism," but this is a little method. "Oh, man, the clothes are gone," sighs Mary-Kate, looking fine in a vintage red-and-black-spotted Yves Saint Laurent blouse, jeans, and skyscraper heels. "They're off in sales," explains Ashley, on brand in a slouchy Row sweatshirt, pant-skirt, and flat sandals.

That's what happens when everyone wants what you're selling. After 24 years of growing up in front of the American public, Mary-Kate and Ashley now occupy a desirable, influential position in the fashion world. After only three years in business, the Row, born with a luxury T-shirt, sits next to Rick Owens, Lanvin, and Azzedine Alaïa in the world's best retailers.

But this success didn't come by accident or through money or connections. "We work," the two stress almost simultaneously (six days a week, commonly). It's a knee-jerk defense bred from years of intrusive pictures and tabloid gossip insinuating they did anything but. "Remember that crazy time when all of us young girls were being followed?" Ashley says. The two were like hunted animals, their only defense a venti Starbucks. Now that they have both moved to New York full-time, oddly, we see them less. "We're either at home or here at the studio," Mary-Kate notes. "I think they got bored of us."

While you might guess that the Olsens' sartorial preference—a long, covered-up look—might come from a desire not to be seen, you'd be wrong. Mary-Kate explains, "We've always been attracted to longer—" "Layers, silhouettes," Ashley says, finishing her sentence.

"When we were growing up, our mother taught us never to have your belly button exposed," Mary-Kate adds. This low-key, tempered sensuality is the spine of their collection. The Row lady doesn't need to put it all out there because she has something going on "in here." This mood was reflected in the Olsens' Fall 2010 presentation, just 19 looks in a simple palette, worn with the same summery flat: a black wrap coat, a precise white shift dress, a languid jumpsuit—all the pieces girls want but have a devil of a time actually finding. Resort had a similar quiet confidence, each look paired with vintage Prada loafers. Both Olsens are huge Prada fans. "Miuccia's spin always has a sense of humor, which I love," Ashley says. "Céline's quite amazing too," adds Mary-Kate.

Though the two don't fantasize about giving anyone a "Row-over," they would like to dress the first lady. "I'd love to get Michelle Obama in the Row," Ashley says. "The simple suits and things. It's all made in America, so why not?" But the two chalk up their first success to Lauren Hutton, whom both are "obsessed with" and who was shot for Forbes in 2007 "on a motorcycle in our leather leggings. I think there's nothing chicer than that," says Ashley. The Olsens have in fact already appeared in Forbes—the first time as kids. Toddler titans? "Nah," says Ashley, giggling. "The Most Powerful Crawlers."

So, newly 24, newly East Coast, but always in control, Mary-Kate and Ashley are, yes, getting their ducks in a row. And 24, the age when you can take New York by storm, is the perfect time to do it. "Ah, but," says Mary-Kate, looking at Ashley with an old-soul smile, "we're 48."

Vogue

   Vogue Portugal
September
2010

I'm aware that this is Vogue Portugal, but how quintessentially British is this?
I always secretly want to dress like that, with a big beehive, big pearl and gold earrings and boucle jackets.
And if you knew me, you'd laugh in disbelief because I have very messy hair, and lets just say...I do not dress like a lady should..(Please dear lord don't think I wear tracksuits/or even slutty get-ups, I just would rather not dress like what a upper class lady should.)

My favourite has to be the shot of the brown all in one, bunny ears and suspenders, it just stands out to me.
What's your favourite?

Krystal Simpson

Krystal is giving away a Pamela Love silver feather cuff away.
Not only am I re-blogging for a chance to win this amazing piece of jewellery, but also for you guys to check out her blog. - No doubt you probably all do, but for the few people who haven't yet seen her blog.

I've been reading it for a while, and it inspired me alot, with her free spirited attitude, and meaningful words. Without sounding like a creepy stalker teen, I am in total awe of her.

Marc Jacobs A/W 2010

I am in awe of this collection. I don't tend to like very many catwalk collections, the reason being is that alot of the clothes aren't really wearable.
But this collection is different, I could imagine seeing woman walking down the street in these ensembles.
I think my all time favourite from the collection has got to be the powder blue sheer night-gown dress. I've been really into them, I've recently bought a couple from eBay, and even if I never wear them out, I feel amazing in my pyjama's. I also love the white sheer embellished dress, it has perfect bell sleeves, and if you pay attention to the detail, the dress has very translucent stripes.

It is also very reminiscent of the 50's. Which is nice because as much as I do love the 60's, it often over-powers the 50's Era, which is quite saddening in a way, because the 50's had some amazing styles.

Lo

Insomnia caused me to watch this film 'Lolita' it's the 1997 version. I admit, the film is pretty fucked up in the sense that the stepfater only married his wife because he fell in love with the 14 year old daughter.
All that aside, she had some pretty rad outfits/hairstyles in this film.
And I also think that alot of people are dressing like her nowdays - with the highwaisted shorts, the bralets, hair is plaits. It is very Summer 2010!

Miss Selfridge AW2010

Miss Selfridge AW2010
I have picked my favourites from the collection, I am totally feeling the 70's inspiration from this collection.
And it is very reminisent of Almost Famous.
My favourite has got to be the black sheer dress. If there is one thing I am going to buy this winter, it will be that!

I love the floppy hats aswell, it has survived through Summer and is going into Autumn Winter. It might become a staple like the leggings and blazer.

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth

Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth in Toluca Lake.
I have no idea where that is, but one thing I do know, is that Miley is going up in my books.
She has come a long way since the synthetic cheap blonde wig and layered tops and tutu's.

I'm liking her laid back style, and I love all of her candid shots, but then I get presented with her stage outfits, and then she goes back down. Come on girl, you don't have to dress THAT slutty.

P.S. How cute do they look as a couple. It's nice to see that she is looking to him for protection, and they are always holding hands. Must be my sentimental side coming out, but it's so unbelievably adorable seeing those two together.

double a

Alex and Alexa, looking unbelievably cute together, waiting around for their plane.

Vagabond S/S 10

Yes I am aware that this is EVERYWHERE, but I couldn't not post it. The colours, the clothes, the setting, everything about it is perfect. And I do not use that word often.
This looks like they have been screen shotted from a cute indie French film, they don't just look like a series of pictures. I would love to know the inspiration behind these.

The clothes are pretty amazing too, I hate flashy clothes, and these are demure in a sort of modern way. I don't really know how to describe it. If you understand this ramble of a post, I commend you.
